Special Edition - This week's Face2Face Job Search Networking for Professionals

Face2Face meeting Thursday:
Using Your Voice to Project Confidence and Presence in Your Job Search
and Career)

Have you ever met someone whose presence immediately impressed you, whose voice immediately grabbed you, and you thought, "I want to hear more from this person..."?

And wished you could have such presence, too? Well, you CAN. And it will help your search, and your career.

Andrew Barrett
This week we're offering what may be our most practical program yet, for your immediate use and benefit, not only in your search, but your career.

Andrew Barrett, DMA, will be our special guest this Thursday, May 7th, when he'll lead a very interactive and FUN session about your voice, showing you how YOU can better project that YOU are the one for the job.

And if you're in a job, you're still welcome to attend because you can use what you learn today IN your job.

Whether you're a CEO, Director, Manager or individual contributor, you will find useful material in this meeting.

Join us at Congregation Bet Shalom this Thursday, May 7th, 10am-12:30pm -- directions, meeting fee info and more in the brochure at www.face2.net.

This energetic, very unstuffy singer, conductor and voice coach will lead us in learning about --

Projecting your voice without shouting (or sounding squeaky!)

- How the right breathing will not only make you heard during an interview, but it will calm you down

- How resonance is key to you putting forth a confident presence

Andrew will bring his 20+ years of success in singing all over the world, performing, conducting, and teaching voice to numerous students of all ages. (Please note: no one will be made to sing solo -- this is about your speaking voice and how it can be your biggest asset!)

Andrew holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor's and Master's from the U as well. He is Assistant Conductor with the Exultate Chamber Choir and Orchestra.  A noted soloist, Dr. Barrett has sung with (and conducted) orchestras internationally in many productions. Click here for more biographical info on this wonderfully talented Minnesotan.  Maybe we can get him to give us a sample of his own amazing talent?!

So put it on your calendars now, THIS Thursday May 7th, 10am-12:30pm, Congregation Bet Shalom in Minnetonka -- and be there to learn how to be that person everyone wants to listen to AND be on their team!

Directions, meeting fee info and more are in the brochure at www.face2.net and on the site.

We hope you'll join us so you can get your voice to show you're the right one for the job!
